## **Forschung im Frühstadium in der Startbahn 29**

**Auf dem Gelände des IPZ haben die ganz Jungen ihr eigenes Labor.**

Die Startbahn 29 ist ein Experimentier- und Forschungslabor, das Kinder und Jugendliche zwischen 4 und 16 Jahren für MINT-Themen begeistern will. Der Raum ist ein Traum für innovationsfreudige Geister: Säuberlich sortierte Materialien von Kupferdraht bis Styroporball, Lötkolben und Leimpistole, mehrere 3D-Drucker warten auf ihren Einsatz. In einem Regal stehen die Werke früherer Besucher:innen: Mit Elektromotor betriebene Bötchen, Autos oder Roboter, die sich im Takt zur Musik bewegen und ihre Lichter leuchten lassen. Pascale Hafen, Teil des Leitungsteams, ist Gymnasiallehrerin für Sport und Biologie und freut sich immer, wenn die jungen Ingenieur:innen einen Schritt weiterdenken. So hat etwa jemand bei einem der E-Autos noch eine zusätzliche Übersetzung eingebaut, die Fähnchen wedeln lässt.
