## ARIS – Rocket Science indeed

The aerospace initiative ARIS was founded by students from ETH Zurich, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). It develops rocket and satellite systems in the ETH Hangar and aims to reach orbit within ten years. The initiative has three milestones to reach its goal:

- A rideshare mission of the CubeSat SAGE satellite
- The launch of an ARIS rocket to 100,000 feet (30,480 meters) by 2024
- The launch of an ARIS rocket into space by 2026

The ultimate goal of ARIS is to transport a payload into low-Earth orbit by 2029.
