The first space summit built for industries outside the space sector.

Orbit is turning into an economic domain. Satellite data, microgravity research and commercial space stations are already feeding into decisions in insurance, life sciences, energy, manufacturing and digital infrastructure — sectors with no space heritage of their own.

The 8th Continent Forum brings C-level leaders from industry, capital and the space sector together to work out what that means in practice. Lab 2026 runs across two days: an opening evening in Zurich on 10 September, and the Industry & Innovation Day on 11 September, hosted at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich in Dübendorf.

The Dübendorf day includes keynotes by Prof. Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen (ETH Zurich | Space), Robbie Schingler (Co-Founder, Planet Labs) and many more, panels on financing and de-risking the space economy, and a showcase with five networking islands. Peter E. Bodmer, Chairman of the Innovation Park Zurich Foundation, opens and closes the day.
