ANYbotics brings autonomous robots into industrial operations

The ETH Zurich spin-off develops autonomous inspection solutions that make industrial facilities safer, more efficient, and more resilient.

ANYbotics builds the autonomous workforce for the industrial world. Founded in 2016 as an ETH Zurich spin-off, the company delivers end-to-end autonomous inspection solutions for the process industries – including energy, power, metals, cement, chemicals, oil & gas, and other environments where reliability, safety, and uptime are critical.

At the center of the solution is ANYmal, an autonomous four-legged inspection robot designed for hazardous, hard-to-reach, and high-consequence industrial areas. Before deployment, ANYbotics tests its robots, including in the Test Cages at Innovation Park Zurich. In the field, ANYmal navigates independently, climbs stairs, traverses challenging terrain, and combines visual cameras, thermal imaging, acoustic imaging, and gas presence detection to identify anomalies before they escalate.

ANYbotics combines Physical AI, Industrial AI, and workflow integration into one integrated solution, turning routine inspection into consistent, actionable industrial intelligence. Customers and partners such as Equinor and Siemens Energy rely on ANYbotics to support autonomous inspection in industrial environments. Backed by more than USD 150 million in funding and a team of 200 experts across Zurich, Barcelona, and San Francisco, ANYbotics is shaping the future of industrial automation.
