Embotech deploys safety-certified autonomous driving to industrial logistics

Embotech delivers safety-certified Level 4 autonomous driving solutions for industrial logistics. Founded in 2013 as an ETH Zurich spin-off, the company operates 24/7 in factories, yards, and ports.

As the first company worldwide they have deployed two TÜV SÜD-certified Level 4 autonomous driving solutions in commercial operation, moving more than 2’500 vehicles autonomously every day. Their Physical AI platform combines advanced autonomy with a safety-certified architecture for reliable operations and enables autonomous vehicles to operate safely in complex industrial environments. The company’s technology is used by a growing number of industrial customers, with major deployments including Automated Vehicle Marshalling at BMW and Autonomous Tractor Solutions at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II in the Port of Rotterdam.
